Q: What do you love about your current home?
A: I love the back deck and the firepit in the backyard. Every morning we spent time outside on the deck, drinking our coffee, and watching the squirrels chase each other up the trees. We also hosted bonfire gatherings with friends and roasted marshmallows until late in the night. Some of my favorite memories took place in that backyard.

 

 

Q: What drew you to your current home originally?
A: We loved the capability of turning the house into two separate units (upstairs and downstairs). We originally bought the house as an investment to run an Airbnb, which is why we updated the entire downstairs unit. Airbnb was quite a success for us. That, and the backyard were the initial attractions.

 

Q: Where do you love to eat?
A: Oscar’s Taco Shop was a common date night spot for us, as well as Scout’s Pub. We also spent many nights at Grays On Main for a fun night on the town! They have live music and some of the best cocktails in the nation!

     

 

Q: Where do you love to shop?
A: Anthropologie

Any of the shops on Main Street are worth spending time in. I always find myself wandering into Anthropologie!

 

Q: What can you tell me about your neighborhood?
A: Our neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. We always saw couples and small families walking by on their evening stroll. Our neighbors are kind and friendly people. Definitely a great place for families. It’s super safe.

 

Q: Is there anything else you would like to add about the schools or the area where you live?
A: We are close to Freedom Middle School and have a beautiful park close by. My husband and I spent many nights picnicing at the park and fishing for the small fish in the pond. Many wonderful memories were made there as well.

 

Q: What drew you to the town?
A: There is always something going on in downtown Franklin. There are festivals that happen (monthly I believe), with live music, food, drinks, shopping, face painting booths for the kids, and so much more. They have a hot air balloon festival every summer that launches hot air balloons in the air at sunset. But my personal favorite is the Franklin Art Crawl. One Friday every month, local painters come to Main Street and set-up booths displaying their unique art pieces. You get to walk around with wine and cheese platters and stroll from booth to booth marveling at different art pieces and engaging with the artists themselves. It is truly a magical experience- I look forward to it every month!
