The Treehouse
Grab a table for two at the quaint Nashville eatery The Treehouse, known for its “traditional meets whimsical” style. This delicious taste of the south includes everything from potato fritters to duck confit. The compact, rustic dining area creates a down-home, casual vibe for couples who prefer a laid back atmosphere.
The Treehouse is also a great location for couples who would rather celebrate Valentine’s Day over a weekend brunch or an unpretentious lunch. (We recommend the chicken salad!) And for coffee lovers, The Treehouse may earn a few extra brownie points for serving a french press full of delicious Stay Golden coffee straight to the table.
Cafe Roze
This unassuming Nashville favorite is both rustic and simple in design. Cafe Roze’s trendy environment appeals to couples looking for a classy menu in an intimate setting. Sweethearts who dine here might enjoy the Chicken Pita or Pei Mussels. Beverages of choice include cocktails and wines as well as a variety of delicious coffees and teas.
Bonus Tip! For couples who plan to go all out, spending the entire day exploring Nashville, Cafe Roze is also a fun breakfast spot.
The Hermitage Hotel: Capitol Grille
The Capitol Grille is a reputable restaurant that sits just inside The Hermitage Hotel. Initially opening in 1910, Capitol Grille is the oldest southern restaurant in Tennessee. With more than a century’s worth of history, this venue is sure to add some flare to Valentine’s Day. This year, the Hermitage Hotel will be offering a Valentine’s special, complete with a seven-course meal and wine pairings. This restaurant will win the heart of a special someone, making this Valentine’s Day one to remember.
Fable Lounge
Fable Lounge is relatively new to the Nashville scene. Its dark tones, warm lighting, and leather furniture pieces embody a romanticized speakeasy from the 1920s. This quaint dinner venue is only open in the evenings, but its menu is sure to impress its guests. We recommend the Fable American Kobe Burger, but there are several other unique items featured on the menu. And by the way, on Valentine’s Day in 2020, the Fable Lounge host gave each lady a rose as she left for the evening. No promises that dinner will come with flowers this year, but the gesture is just one example of their attention to detail.
Cheesecake Factory
For cheesecake lovers, there is no question where to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Cheesecake Factory is famous for its plethora of mouth-watering cheesecakes, like the Fresh Strawberry or Chocolate Mousse Cheesecakes. But before we jump to the dessert selection, let’s talk about the other reasons that place this venue at the top of our Valentine’s Day restaurant list.
This reputable restaurant glows with dimly lit, warm interior design elements. The menu, nearly as long as a novel, has something for every palate. Options like Chinese food, Italian meals, American dishes, and more offer variety for those who are particular about their plates. No one is arguing about what type of foods they are in the mood for because this venue has everyone covered. With over thirty desserts to choose from, who couldn't find just the right item on the menu?
Nashville Valentine’s Day Dessert Stops
Dinner went very well, but the conversation isn’t over. How can we keep the magic going? How about taking a romantic drive through the city to one of Nashville’s incredible dessert stops?!
Ice cream lovers will be brimming with joy when they see the over-the-top milkshakes at The Legendairy Milkshake Bar. These overflowing milkshakes are filled with ice cream and topped with extravagant desserts like cookies, bananas, and donuts. But if February is still too cold for ice cream, head over to Five Daughters Bakery instead. Their delicious, croissant-style donuts are so popular that even their closing hours of operation include the phrase, “...or until sold out.” Be sure to check all of their Nashville locations or their live donut cams for anyone gets their heart set on a specific flavor.
