A: It's a quiet and friendly residential community, perfect for outdoor walks. Also, it's just a few minutes away from a variety of restaurants, shops, parks, lakes, and fishing/boating areas.

 

Q: Is there anything else you would like to add about the schools or the area where you live?

A: Our daughter attended public school for middle and high school in Hendersonville, and she received an excellent and well-rounded education, which helped her get into a great college and later obtain her doctorate. We were happy to have raised her in such a safe town with a highly rated education system. There are also two private schools in town for parents who prefer those.

 

Q. What drew you to the town?

A: Hendersonville is a suburb of Nashville and is one of the best places to live in Tennessee. It is only 18 miles north of Nashville. It is close to lakes, parks, a variety of choices for eating out and shopping. It has an excellent school district, as well. Hendersonville has grown a lot over the past 20 years, and there is more to do than ever. The Streets of Indian Lake was built in 2008. The Monthaven Arts and Cultural Center is a great place to explore due to its history, art, and workshops. The Hendersonville area is an ideal place to live for families, young professionals, and retirees.
