Introduction

More than 26 acres of gorgeous Tennessee land surrounds this beautiful, colonial-style home. The property features a mature hardwood forest and charming woodland creeks. Inside, the 3,544-square-foot home hosts four bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms, and spacious living areas. Outside, a heated, in-ground saltwater pool invites residents and guests to enjoy the views from the back patio.

Potential buyers have a few options for purchasing this house and(or) the land. Three listings offer an opportunity to either purchase the house with a parcel of land, a separate parcel of land only, or the house and all of the land together. No matter which listing a potential buyer selects, they will enjoy a beautiful piece of Joelton, Tennessee.

Living Room

Cedar wood paneling lines the walls of the cozy living room inside 3251 Union Hill Road. Large windows draw light into the room, creating a welcoming space to sit and stay awhile. The gas fireplace creates a focal point for family gatherings or evenings spent with friends.

Kitchen and Dining

The kitchen inside this Joelton home is expansive, offering plenty of room for a large dining table. The custom cabinets and backsplash present character, while the double oven and gas cooktop offer convenience. Granite countertops, ceiling beams, and space for a lovely breakfast nook make this space a beautiful and desirable room within the home. It’s no wonder this kitchen was the setting for a commercial years ago.

Primary Bedroom

The primary bedroom is bright and spacious. Four windows infuse natural daylight into the room and offer views of the beautiful landscaping. A large, walk-in closet with custom shelving provides plenty of storage space for the homeowners. The primary bedroom also connects to a primary bathroom, which features a soaking tub, a walk-in shower, and two vanities. As an additional feature, homeowners can access the back patio and pool from a door in the primary bathroom.

Family Room/Den

In addition to three guest bedrooms that can serve a variety of uses, 3251 Union Hill Road has a secondary family room (or den). This space could work perfectly as a playroom, in-home gym, game room, or even an in-home theater. With access to a bathroom and a generous amount of space, homeowners can creatively make this room their own.

Here’s What The Current Owners Have To Say:

Q: What do you love about your property?

A: The location is amazing. We can be downtown in 15-20 minutes and never have to get on the interstate. A good family friend built the home, and our parents owned it before we purchased it from them. (They retired and moved back to their hometown.) A commercial was also filmed in that kitchen years ago. The galley kitchen allowed us to have a 10-foot farm table, and holiday celebrations with all our family gathered around the table made indelible, beautiful memories for us. The spirit of family still shines in this home. We enjoyed every season. We hosted an annual Easter “eggstravangza” every spring with the snow bush blooming and sweet kids all over the big front yard. The daffodils and tulips around the trees also bloom about that time, and that Saturday in spring was a tradition that we will miss. Our kids and grandchildren played in that backyard and enjoyed the pool; we loved summertime. Every weekend, we had music, grilling, and swim parties surrounded by beautiful nature—greenery and flowers in the backyard. For us, the home is about building a life with loved ones, and this house fit us, our lifestyle, our priorities to a T.

Q: What drew you to your property originally?

A: We loved the land and the privacy. We had lived in a subdivision most of our lives, and I loved having no neighbors around us while still having this great small town filled with community.

Q: Where do you love to eat?

A: Joelton Hardware Feed and Farmacy, and the music is incredible. Country Junction has the best biscuits in all of Nashville (and I can’t tell you how many cakes Christy has made for us through the years). Mazatlan has the best food and margaritas. We also enjoyed Firecrackers Pizza.

Q. Where do you love to shop?

A: I can’t say enough about Tony’s Foodland (which is locally owned). During COVID, he was always well stocked—more so than the big chain restaurants. And Vintage Creek has the cutest clothes and gifts!

Q: What can you tell me about your neighborhood?

A: We have so much privacy. I wouldn’t say we have a neighborhood, but I can tell you our neighbors are friendly and always there if we need them!

Q: Is there anything else you would like to add about the schools or the area where you live?

A: Local elementary schools are incredible—the little local church has a great Mother’s Day Out program. We sent our kids to a private school—Davidson Academy is right up the road.

Q. What drew you to the town?

A: It’s a local, quiet, zero-crime town. Being this close to Nashville and having safety and security was important to us. I am amazed. Seriously, the crime map still shows almost zero crime here. The locals are loyal and want to keep the town rural and quiet.
