Here’s What The Current Owners Have To Say:
Q: What do you love about your property?
A: Our back porch has always stood out to me. The flowerbed prominently displayed within our rock and stone wall makes for a beautiful scene as the sun goes down while we’re sitting and relaxing. I also love how open our living room feels. Having that lookout from the kitchen allows you to see the entire space and not feel like the room is on top of you.
Q: What drew you to your property originally?
A: We loved the new backsplash in the kitchen. I liked how both downstairs and upstairs had hardwood floors. The half bath had been recently updated as well. We loved having the den upstairs between the bedrooms as a cozy movie-watching space and what is now our little girl’s play area—very versatile.
Q: Where do you love to eat?
A: The new developments such as the Tanger Outlet Mall have truly broadened the range of food options. We loved Eggspectations for a brunch or dinner spot. There is a Red Bicycle for a lazy coffee chat. There are also many popular chains such as Chick-fil-A, Chipotle, Panera, Whataburger, and an In-N-Out Burger is coming soon!
Q. Where do you love to shop?
A: The Tanger Outlets has everything you need. Clothing, home decor, shoes—you name it. We are also so close to I-24 that you can spend 20 minutes and be in the Cool Springs or West End area.
Q: What can you tell me about your neighborhood?
A: Our neighborhood is diverse. We met our neighbors very quickly after moving in and got to know them very well. They are quick to lend a helping hand and are always so easy to talk and catch up with.
Q: Is there anything else you would like to add about the schools or the area where you live?
A: We have Mt. View Elementary less than a mile from our location. I’ve volunteered there before, and the administration and teachers are wonderful. Thurgood Marshall and AZ Kelley Elementary and Middle Schools off Preston Rd are also less than 10 minutes away. As far as high schools go, we have Cane Ridge High School nearby and the newly built Nashville Collegiate Prep that is enrolling next year!
Q. What drew you to the town?
A: It felt like a very central location for us. My wife works in East Nashville, and at the time I worked in Murfreesboro, so being so close to the interstate was a huge advantage. The neighborhood is also close to many parks and fun places to bring children which was important to us.
