Here’s What The Current Owners Have To Say:
Q: What do you love about your property?
A: There is so much we love about home! We love our backyard. It feels a bit like Narnia, with a lot of big mature trees, and it is a great place for kids to explore.
We love our in-law suite that we ran an Airbnb out of for the last couple of years. The Airbnb space provided extra income each month, and it was low-lift and minimally intrusive to our day-to-day.
We love our front porch; it was a great spot for early morning coffee, afternoon chats, and evenings on the porch swing.
We love our rain shower; it is a luxurious experience.
We love our large living room! It has natural light with floor-length windows, a working fireplace, and recently added built-in shelving.
We love our open kitchen and dining room. It's so great when you have people over! Cook while you socialize!
Q: What drew you to your property originally?
A: I was initially drawn to the home because it was so beautifully renovated and had a space that worked really well for an Airbnb. We loved the neighborhood feel while also having easy access to the highways and access to downtown.
Q: Where do you love to eat?
A: Madison is up and coming with its own restaurants and is also close to all the amazing food of East Nashville. In Madison, we love Pinky's Pizza and two great coffee shops in walking distance—Sidekicks Cafe and Grams. So many of our favorite coffee shops and restaurants are in east Nashville and only 10 minutes away—Mitchell's Deli, Dose Cafe, Crema East, Hunter's Station, East Side Bowl, Butcher and Bee, Hawker's, TKO, Jeni's, Scratch Kitchen, Riverside Grill, Mas Tacos.
Q. Where do you love to shop?
A: Opry Mills Mall is seven minutes from our house. We love the local shops in East Nashville and a GREAT toy store called Tabla Rasa.
Q: What can you tell me about your neighborhood?
A: Our neighborhood feels like a hidden gem. We're close to highway access, one or two minutes to both (31 and 65), while still feeling tucked away. There is a growing number of families and many established residents. We have spent a lot of time, over the last few years, walking the neighborhood. Two great coffee shops are within walking distance, and a new pizza place is just a mile or two away. We're also incredibly close to East Side Bowl and the soon-to-open music venue Timberhawk Hall off Madison Station Blvd.
Q. What drew you to the town?
A: Nashville is a growing town. It's nice to be somewhat removed from all the hustle and bustle but still be close enough to enjoy all our favorite activities—just 10-15 minutes from downtown.
