Q: What drew you to your property originally?

A: We saw all the potential. There was a lot of work to be done, but we could see it. The fireplace room and the deck are the two spaces that sold the home for us.


Q: Where do you love to eat?

A: I love eating early morning breakfast with our boys up at the counter, close to the coffee pot, and we enjoy most lunches and dinners around the table. We hosted Sunday Suppers with our group of friends for three years (every Sunday evening), and there were plenty of spaces for all 20-30 people to eat and chat. Eating on the deck at twilight is a dream.


Q. Where do you love to shop?

A: We love shopping in 12 South which is only 12 minutes away. We're also 12 minutes from Target in Brentwood, and there are lots of other shopping options in Green Hills and Cool Springs.


Q: What can you tell me about your neighborhood?

A: People call our neighborhood (Whispering Hills) "Crieve Hall Lite.” It has changed a lot since we moved in. Once you walk southeast, deeper into the neighborhood, you can walk the streets for miles and feel like you're away from the city. On our walks, it is always exciting to see which houses are being renovated and watch the new builds go up like a flash.


Q: Is there anything else you would like to add about the schools or the area where you live?

A: We're really close to Valor and Crieve Hall Elementary, which are highly sought-after schools.


Q. What drew you to the town?

A: When we moved to Nashville, we lived in Woodbine. We loved all the taco trucks and international food, and the convenience to I65 and downtown. So when we found Whispering Hills, it was perfect. We are still five minutes from great ethnic food (you have to go to Taj Indian), while only 10 to 15 minutes from Berry Hills, 12 South, Green Hills, and Brentwood.
