Q: What do you love about your property?
A: We love the patio for fresh air with the door open, sitting outside with coffee or tea in the morning, listening to birds, during rainstorms, or watching sunsets. We love that there are lots of trees for privacy; we can hear the wind shuffling the leaves. The theater has been a gathering place for the family to watch movies, watch sports, play video games, host sleepovers for the kids, and it is a comfortable tornado shelter. The great room functions as a fun space to watch a loud movie or play board games. Guests can help themselves to a drink at the wet bar or conveniently use the restroom. It is like a separate recreation room on the main floor.
Q: What drew you to your property originally?
A: The size originally drew us to the property! It offers so much space to spread out and to enjoy different activities. We could enjoy the patio, the back yard (including an outdoor kitchen), the hot tub, the fireplace, the great room, the theater, the hobby room, and the downstairs gym. A: We shop at Target in Cool Springs and Brentwood, Nordstrom Rack in Brentwood, CoolSprings Galleria, and cute little shops in Franklin.
Q: What can you tell me about your neighborhood?
A: The neighborhood is quiet and well-maintained. It has a good mix of younger families and those with college-aged children. It is clean and provides multiple dog walking stations. There is a well-maintained pool for neighbors to gather for a quick swim and convenient sidewalks and trails for bike riding, walking dogs, or family walks.
Q: Is there anything else you would like to add about the schools or the area where you live?
A: Kids love Jordan Elementary! Lots of people walk or ride bikes to school. We met many new friends on these walks to and from the school. I love walking the trail on Split Log in both directions and even stop at the fire station for drinks from their water fountain in the lobby. It's reassuring living near emergency resources and minutes away from all the schools and Cool Springs.
Q. What drew you to the town?
A: The Williamson County school system is highly ranked. The zoned schools for this house (Jordan Elementary, Sunset Middle, Ravenwood High) are nice, and they are close by—we were able to reach them in minutes. It is great to be less than 30 minutes from downtown Nashville, which is fun for concerts and other events. The house is also close to downtown Franklin and Leiper's Fork. Cool Springs, and its grocery stores and shopping areas, are within a 12-minute drive from home.
